Welcome to the 1st grade webpage! My name is Megan Byers.  I am from Beattyville and still live there.  This is my 12th year at Jackson City School! I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Kentucky University.  I am married to Doug Byers, a Lexington paramedic and firefighter.  We have three children! Joshua Caleb is in fourth grade this year, and Coralee Embry is in first grade, and Jesse Daniel is 1 year old. My favorite things are iced coffee, reading, and relaxing outside! I am so excited to start this year with your children!
