Rod Montz - Head Swimming & Diving Coach
Coach Montz took over the reigns of the Jackson High School program in 2015. He brings years of age-group, high school and collegiate experience to the team through success competing at all levels. Under his leadership, the team has established the consistency, discipline, expertise and motivation required of a winning program. Additionally, Coach Montz co-founded the Tulane University Water Polo Team in his home town of New Orleans, Louisiana and hopes to one day bring that sport to Jackson and southeast Missouri.
Cailin McGinnis - Assistant Swimming Coach
Coach McGinnis is a long-time assistant for the Jackson Girls team and in 2017 assumed that same roll with the boys swim team. Coach McGinnis developed her coaching experience through success in the water as a past Missouri State competitor for JHS and through her long association as an assistant coach for the Cape Castaways club team. In addition to her coaching duties, Coach McGinnis is a 5th grade English Language Arts teacher at Jackson Middle School.
Delbert Marriot - Diving Coach
Coach Marriott joined the Jackson Swimming & Diving Team staff in 2017. In his first year, he developed the strongest divers in Jackson school history including one diver who made the final round at the State competition. Coach Marriott instituted high expectations for his divers and expects them to compete at the State level yearly. His success as both a high school and collegiate diver is where he first established his passion for spring-board competition. Coach Marriott has since fine-tuned his coaching skills through active participation in nationally prominent diving clinics.
