In Australia, the Hydrogen Energy Supply Chain (HESC) project is gearing up to export hydrogen to Japan, leveraging its vast renewable energy resources. Australia is expected to play a major role in exporting green hydrogen to Asia-Pacific countries

In the Middle East, countries like Saudi Arabia and the UAE are capitalizing on their vast natural gas reserves and renewable energy investments to lead in blue and green hydrogen production. Saudi Arabia’s NEOM project aims to create one of the world’s largest green hydrogen facilities​

Industrial hydrogen hubs are emerging and yhese hubs aim to decarbonize industries like steel, chemicals, and refining. Rotterdam is becoming a central port for hydrogen, with major projects like the Hydrogen Delta initiative, aiming to make the port a hydrogen powerhouse​

In the U.S., the Gulf Coast is developing hydrogen projects, driven by incentives like the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA). This region is expected to play a leading role in blue hydrogen, supported by natural gas reserves and carbon capture technologies​

In China, hydrogen hubs in Shanghai and Tianjin are evolving rapidly, as the country seeks to become a global leader in hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and green hydrogen for industry​
