What do school counselors do?

School counselors help students learn and grow in academics, career/college readiness, and social-emotional health.  We work with teachers, parents, and administrators to make sure that each student has what they need to be successful.  School counselors conduct classroom counseling lessons, provide short term individual counseling, group counseling, and conflict mediation.
