Fall 2023 Laptop Distribution

Laptop distribution will take place in the library from 8:30 - 11 a.m. and 12:30 - 3 p.m. on the dates listed below:

Tuesday, August 22 - Seniors

Wednesday, August 23 - Juniors

Monday, August 28 - Sophomores

Tuesday, August 29 - Transfer students (enrolled after 6/13/23) and students who returned their laptops to SHS after 6/13/23

Additional information:

• Please keep in mind that the mornings are the busiest time for laptop distribution. If you come during this time, you should expect to wait in line.

• The Device Usage and Distribution Agreement must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian for a student to receive a school-issued laptop.

• Students can pick up their laptops on or after their scheduled day, but not before.

• Freshmen will receive their laptops during the first week of school.

• Students with charges on their library account, including tech charges from SMS, will not be able to pick up their laptops until their account is cleared.

• Information about insurance options will be available on site and on the SHS website.

Students enrolled in Virtual Virginia, GSA and GSST can pick up their laptops on Monday, August 21 from 1-3 p.m.

Library Advisory Council will meet in the library during Packer Block beginning in October.
