Extra Credit

Extra Credit:

For each Chemistry Course, there are 5 possible extra credit assignments that you can do. THESE ARE OPTIONAL and are NOT required. (Scroll to the BOTTOM for links to the assignments).

Benefits of Doing Extra Credit:

Completion of each assignment adequately (I will use a rubric) will earn you 1% to your OVERALL grade. Completing ALL of the extra credit opportunities will earn you up to 5% to your OVERALL grade. For example: You finish the course (and the cumulative exam) with a 68% and you completed three (3) of the extra credit opportunities satisfactorily...I will change your final grade to a 71%.

How Do I Submit Extra Credit?

Extra Credit assignments will be emailed to me (mattc@iwantmydiploma.com). They can be submitted as MSWord or PowerPoint documents; shared as Google Docs or Slides documents or submitted as PDF files.

When Do I Have To Have My Extra Credit Completed?

Extra Credit MUST be completed and emailed to me within 24 hours of finishing your cumulative exam! SO...you cannot wait to see what your final score is and then decide to do extra credit. You MUST plan ahead and do some as you go through the course.
