ABOUT STUDY TABLES

Study tables offer an opportunity for Student Collaboration peer to peer learning which allows students to work through new concepts and material with other individuals engaged in the same work. It provides them with opportunities to teach and be taught by one another, expanding their perspectives and fostering meaningful connections. 

Our Main Goals 

Student Collaboration

Collaborative learning capitalizes on resources and skills of more than one new individual to create 

a higher level of learning, while building teamwork, accountability and communication skills. 

Faculty Connection

Faculty volunteers will be onsite during and study table time to provide guidance in techniques of 

collaboration while helping to improve conceptual understanding.

Enhanced Learning

Learning cooperatively provides a deeper level of understanding of materials, an opportunity 

for feedback and reflection and improved academic achievement.
