A weekly challenge posted by Dr. Allison to provide an enrichment activity or maybe just a fun challenge for our students and families during the COVID-19 Stay-at-Home Order!
Week #1 Challenge:
The Spaghetti Bridge Challenge
Week #2 Challenge:
The Face Covering Challenge! Complete the challenge by designing and creating your own personalized face covering! Send your picture to Dr. Allison at callison@ivcschools.com. Post it to Twitter, if you can - #itsagreatdaytobeaghost!
Week #3 Challenge:
For the week 3 challenge, it's time to do some coding! What's coding? Coding is basic computer programming. Use the link below to visit Code.org. There you can create your own electronic dance party, learn about articificial intelligence (AI); create an app in JavaScript; develop a Minecraft project; or many others. Create your project and share it with me when you are done: callison@ivcschools.com!
May 3rd is the 20th anniversary of the first geocache being placed! Have you ever been geocaching? Not sure what it is? Check out the video below to get started! This week's challenge does require you to leave your house, so please make sure you follow all applicable safety and social distancing requirements.
If you are a geocaching veteran, it's a great time to hide your first geocache! Create one as a family and think about where to hide it.
Once you have found or created your first geocache, share a picture of yourself and your family with the cache (without giving away the location of course!): callison@ivcschools.com
