Through our membership in the Honors Transfer Council of California (HTCC), IVC Honors Program students can take advantage of unique agreements with numerous four-year institutions that grant priority consideration for transfer admission. These agreements are updated regularly. For more details on the HTCC transfer agreements, please consult the HTCC website.

How to Take Advantage of HTCC Transfer Agreements with Private and Out-of-State Institutions
First Year at IVC
Meet with an Honors counselor to plan your courses
Complete English and math courses as early as possible, and make progress in major prep
Maintain at least a 3.25 in Honors coursework and attain the minimum transferable GPA, if applicable
The Year That You Apply to Transfer
Fall semester: Meet with an Honors Counselor to receive advising and ensure that you're on track to complete requirements
By mid-January: Email unofficial transcripts showing courses completed at other colleges to honorsprogram@ivc.edu
Spring semester: By mid-September: Complete the HTCC Transfer Partners interest form to indicate which HTCC transfer partners you plan to apply to; Professor Liu will submit your certification paperwork
January through March: Submit transfer applications
