The Theatre Arts Department typically does one musical and one play each semester, along with other performance opportunites throughout the academic year. Participation in backstage crew is open to all students and community members. Crew members are an essential part of the production team and serve as stagehands/deck crew, dressers, hair and make-up technicians, lighting operators, and audio/video technicians. No prior experience required.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED: Crew assignments are determined through an interview process at the start of each semester. Students interested in crew must attend CREW INTERVIEWS on January 15 or 16, 2026.
Interviews will take place on a first come, first served basis from 6:30-8:00pm during both nights of callbacks. Students interested in interviews need only attend one interview night, and will be able to begin checking in as early at 6:00pm in the PAC!
Crew members attend Technical and Dress rehearsals and participate in every performance. Since each crew member fulfills a unique role in production, attendance at all required technical and dress rehearsals and performances is critical. Individualized Crew Schedules for each Production and Crew Position are forthcoming and will be finalized before Crew Interviews on January 15th and 16th, 2026. Stay tuned!
