Registration Information

STEP 1:

Review the Course Selection Guidelines below:

• All students must register for 6 classes.

• Required courses: English, Math, Living Earth, PE/Athletics

• Students are only eligible for a 7th or 8th class if they choose courses from the Open Enrollment course list. (See the planning worksheet in Step 2 for a list of these courses.)

• Students who enroll in 6 classes with no open enrollment course selections must select their two open period preferences (Options are Periods 1, 2, 7 or 8.)

• WHS follows the recommendations given by 8th grade teachers. Teacher recommendations will be cross-referenced with your course selection. If you have any questions regarding a recommendation from your teacher, please contact them directly.

STEP 2:

Review the Incoming 9th Grade Guidance Presentation and 9th Grade Course Options found on this page. Use this Planning Worksheet as a tool prior to filling out the course selection form.

STEP 3:

Enter course selection information on the Course Selection Form. Please note that you will be required to sign in to a Google account in order to complete the form. We suggest logging in with your student's IUSD Google account. The form will open on April 14th and close on April 21st at 12:00 pm. Please be sure to read each question and click “Submit” when completed. Forms can be submitted once so please make your selections carefully.
