What is it like to work with an ERC?
When we meet, we are here to listen! Our meetings are a judgment-free zone and we will always disclose confidentiality. Students can feel safe to discuss any topics from friendships to anxiety. In our meetings, we will spend time talking, playing games, reading, watching videos, practicing mindfulness and relaxation, or working on school goals.
We are also Resource Specialists for the entire Stonegate community. We can provide linkage to outside mental health providers and additional IUSD resources.
How can you connect with your ERC?
Additionally, upper grade students (4th-6th) are able to reach out through a Check-in Form:
***Please note Check-in and Referral Forms are monitored during working hours only. If the student is in a crisis (threat to self or others, child abuse, disorientated or explosive), and/or if this is an emergency please call 911, or call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline ASAP: 1.800.273.8255. Do not leave the student alone. You will find more emergency resources below.
