Background

I was born and raised in Orange County and grew up attending both Irvine and Tustin schools. 🏡 This will be my fifth year teaching and my fourth year teaching 6th grade at Brywood. 👩🏻‍🏫 I look forward to making the most of your last year of elementary school and am excited to prepare you for the middle school journey. 💙

When I'm not teaching, you can find me walking my dog 🐶, enjoying a caffeinated drink 🍵, and planning my next trip ✈️.

Education

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from UC Riverside, and my teaching credential and Master of Education from UCLA.

Teaching

This is my fifth year teaching! 6th grade is such a fun, challenging, and rewarding grade. I look forward to growing with you all!

Working with young minds and young hearts is very important to me. I believe in empowering youth and creating safe, inclusive spaces for my students. I believe each child comes into the classroom with abundant, valuable knowledge and I hope to foster a classroom culture where learning is celebrated, valued, and relevant.
