Commonly Asked Questions
How many concerts will my child perform?
All music classes perform at two concerts during the school year. First is our Winter Concert, which will be held at school during your child’s music class time. The second concert is our Spring Concert, which will be a more formal concert held in the evening at a different venue.
How can my child be successful in winds?
Your child should never be afraid for help! I am always available before or after school for extra help by appointment. Please send me an email to set up an appointment beforehand. Also, take advantage of the resources I post on this website for extra practice at home.
Is there Homework in winds class?
Students are expected to practice twenty minutes a day in an uninterrupted and quiet atmosphere. They will be tested at least three times a trimester to assess the skills they are practice at home and in the classroom.
How Can I meet with mrs. seminario?
If you would like to meet me in person to discuss your child's progress in class, please email me with your child's first name, last name, grade, and which school they are attending. Please keep in mind that I teach at 5 different school sites, and can answer your questions quicker if I am provided with this information!
