About the Conference 2022
The study of interaction of law with the ever-changing technology is a critical matter now than ever before. Science and technology have profoundly influenced the course of human civilization and provided us with insights into the world we live in. It has played an essential role in transforming India and the world into a modern and industrialized society. Technology has evolved into various legal fields such as intellectual property rights, cyber law, space law, bio-technology, medical laws, environment laws, evidence law and even human rights. This conference is an endeavor to invite views from cross-sections of the stakeholders on the legal issues relating to technology while learning from the tangle of the purported conclusions reached in the recent past by courts, regulators, technocrats, and commentators on these issues, and to churn out testable theories and suggestions in the field of technology and its legal aspects. The main motto is to widen the awareness about the interconnectedness of law, science and technology to academicians, research scholars, students and even to the common masses.

About the University
Integral University is a premier university situated in Lucknow, the capital city of the largest state of India, Uttar Pradesh. It was established under Act Number 9 of 2004 by the State Government. The University is duly approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Sections 2(f) and 12B of the UGC Act, 1956, and all relevant statutory bodies. In the recent past, the University has been a recipient of several prestigious awards in the education sector. The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), the most prestigious ranking by the Govt. of India, ranked Integral University as a leading institution in the country in Pharmacy in 2017 and 2018.
The University offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in all prominent fields like Pharmacy. Engineering, Sciences, Health & Medical Sciences, Commerce & Management, Computer Applications, Agriculture, Law, Architecture & Planning, Education, Library. & Information Science, and Humanities & Social Sciences. The University offers more than 240 programs across 47 disciplines and currently hosts around 11000 students at its 120-acre campus. The medium of instruction is English for all programs. In a lush green, safe, serene, and ragging-free environment, the campus provides state-of-the-art hostel accommodation, with the capacity to host 2600 students in the hostels and houses a 550 bedded hospital, as part of the Medical College, with state-of-the-art medical facilities, and more than 200 doctors. The Grand Central Library of the University holds more than 100,000 books and several hundreds of journals and magazines.
About the Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law is a crowning glory of the esteemed Integral University started in the year 2016 with an aim of establishing the department to inculcate and train the budding lawyers. Over the past years, the Faculty has made significant progress in order to give due emphasis to the expanding horizons of the legal profession. In its continuous endeavours in this regard, the Faculty has introduced two Five-Year Integrated Law Programmes and one Three Year Law Programme from the academic session 2016-2017; and a One-Year Postgraduate Programme (LL.M) in the academic session 2019-2020. The Faculty also started its Doctor of Philosophy Programme in the 2020-2021 Session.
About the Department of Computer Application
Department of Computer Application was established in 2003 and is one of the most reputed academic departments in the field of Computer Application. The Department aims to make a place at both national and international level by producing high quality ethically rich computer application engineers conversant with the state-of-art technology and with the ability to adapt the upcoming challenges in information technologies and their applications to cater to the ever changing industrial and societal needs. It is committed to provide a supportive, friendly and challenging learning and research environment. The department provides a stimulating academic environment that amalgamates the best of conventional and modern pedagogy, rich and industry relevant curriculum, through extremely competent faculty staff and intensive teaching-learning process and continuous evaluation system. Department offers a 6 semester Bachelor program in Computer Applications (BCA), 4 semester Master program in Computer Applications (MCA), and a 2 semesters Post Graduate Diploma in Cyber Law & Security (PGDCLS).
