Studio Code : ARCH2140 Studio Design IIBSemester : NOV 2023Studio Tutors : Sharyzee Bin Mohd SyukriProject : “The Expressionism Creative Hub Building” During this project, you are required to design an expressionism Creative Hub Building pertaining to your design theme according to the group divisions towards modernism or others style in architecture. The project is to be designed in accordance with the provided site and its respective characteristics while resembling the discussed architecture styles ex. Organic architecture, Bauhaus architecture, Constructivism in architecture, Brutalism in architecture or vernacular architecture. You are required to develop the inventory expected to be presented in your center. All architectural principles towards formal and functional developments of the respective projects must be fully incorporated within your design ideas. Conceptual progressions and philosophical thinking behind the conceptualization must be clearly observable. Continuous tutorial sessions are required in order to ensure a proper approach towards design while you are required to keep track of the aforementioned progress to be included in your final portfolio. The Creative Hub Building must be inclusive of the following spaces while additional spaces pertaining to the design development can be considered; Showrooms; Main Lobby; Office Space; Utilities Space; Coffee Shop; Retail Centers; Audio-Visual Section; Library and others Relevant Spaces.
