Ms. Julie Reimer, Director, has taught English in such diverse countries as Japan, Latvia, Puerto Rico, Bulgaria, and Guinea. She holds a master's degree in TESL from Inter American University in Puerto Rico and a bachelor's degree in International Studies from the University of Washington, Seattle. She has been a U.S. Peace Corps volunteer, an English Language Fellow for the U.S. Department of State, and a member of the IFESH Teachers for Africa Program.
Ms. Lorie Mattox
Senior Lecturer
Ms. Lorie Mattox holds a Master's in Adult ESL Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor's degree in English, specializing in Technical Writing, from Texas Tech University. Her professional experience spans the publishing industry, designing and implementing a U.S.-based job search clinic for international students, and conducting conversational English classes. Ms. Mattox has been teaching at IUGB since the fall of 2014.
Mr. Keino Campbell, Esq
Senior Lecturer
Mr. Keino Campbell holds a Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law, a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University, and a CELTA certification in English instruction. His professional experience includes work in the legal industry and as a literary agent in the publishing industry, book author, and entrepreneurial course designer for TOEFL, IELTS, and GRE standardized exams. He has taught courses in English, Critical Thinking, Mathematics, and Business Law. Mr. Campbell joined IUGB in the fall of 2016.
Mr. Mohamed Mahmoud LEKRAMA
Senior Lecturer
Mr. Mohamed Lekrama began his teaching career as a Fulbright FLTA (Foreign Language Teaching Assistant) at Colorado College, USA, where he also served as the Arabic Language House Coordinator from 2011 to 2012. He then worked as a Secondary School Teacher with the Ministry of Education in Mauritania from 2012 to 2014. In late 2014, Mr. Lekrama returned to the U.S. through the Fulbright Program and earned a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the SIT Graduate Institute (School for International Training) in Brattleboro, Vermont. He joined IUGB in January 2017.
Mrs. Emeline Kouame- Boga
Senior Lecturer
Mrs. Kouame-Boga is a graduate of the Institute of Education at University College London (UCL), UK, where she earned a Master's Degree in Education, Gender, and International Development, along with a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification. With nearly 10 years of experience teaching English and Humanities at IUGB, she also holds a certificate in Adult Education from Côte d'Ivoire and a Diploma in Psychology from Dublin Business School, Ireland. Mrs. Kouame-Boga is deeply passionate about teaching, humanitarian aid, and personal development.
Dr. Marie-Agnes Mabande
Lecturer
Dr. Mabande earned her Doctorate in Education from Liberty University and holds a Master's in Public Administration. She also received her TESOL certification from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Dr. M’s professional experience includes serving as an instructor at the Community College of Baltimore County and teaching at Luke International School in Abidjan. She has been a part of IUGB since the spring of 2022.
