Aims and Objectives
The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes on the infusion of multidisciplinary programmes to prepare engineering graduates for the 21st century. The AICTE has instituted an award for the Clean, Green, and Smart Campuses. At the recently concluded UN climate change Conference of the Parties Summit in Glasgow, strategies for transition to Net-Zero Emissions have been released.
The IUCEE has taken various initiatives to promote clean, green, and sustainability in and around the campuses through student and faculty development programmes in the past few years.
To provide an additional avenue for the faculty members, researchers, students, and management of the member institutions to share their experiences, the IUCEE has planned a Mini-Symposium on Smart, Clean, Green, and Sustainability.
The main objective of the Mini-Symposium is to identify good practices, share the challenges and lessons learned, and encourage participants to take on innovative projects, research work, and programmes unique to the Indian context.
Three powerful keynotes/plenary sessions, one industry & techno-entrepreneurship oriented panel session, and one youth energy-driven climate crusader panel session are key features of the mini-symposium.
Over 50 articles, case studies, feasibility reports, and papers will be presented and shared by faculty members, researchers, industry practitioners, and students in this extremely important field of Smart, Clean, Green, and Sustainability.
