Attended the TRANSform conference by Amercian Public Transportation Association (APTA) in Anaheim, CA. This was a great event to get introduced with the current trends in the public transport industries. Received American Public Transportation Foundation (APTF) scholarship!
Presented my research work on multi-task learning for spatio-temporal forecasting of ride-hailing services at the 103rd TRB annual meeting in Washington DC. This was a great learning experience!
Participated in the online AI Summer School (https://project.inria.fr/paiss/) organized by the AI institutes MIAI (Université Grenoble-Alpes) and PR[AI]RIE, NAVER LABS Europe, and Inria. Great learning experience from renowned researchers around the world!
Team Transportist secured 9th place in the final round of DhakaAI 2020 traffic detection challenge (https://dhaka-ai.com/leaderboard2) funded by Elsevier. Our solution (https://github.com/hisham32/DhakaAI-yolov5) incorporated hyperparameter evolution for different configurations of YOLOv5 models.
