Alludo (Asynchronous PD)

Alludo is an asynchronous professional development platform offered to districts or individuals as professional development opportunity.  Subscription is $75/user for 1 year of topics relevant to this region.

IU28’s partnership with IU7 allows us to build professional learning opportunities that are quality, engaging, and relevant.  We can receive requests for PD and rely on a team to fulfill the request.  Asynchronous learning is an option for professionals, and Alludo allows for personal choice in learning.

Process:

1. Users set up accounts.  They should choose Westmoreland IU7 as IU28/Districts will not show up in the drop-down.

2. Users can begin by accessing the Welcome to P.L.A.Y. (Professional Learning and You) modules to get acclimated with Alludo.

3. Users can play around and dig into topics they are interested in on their own.

4. Playlists can be created by individuals, or if administrators would like a particular playlist or choice board created, they can reach out to Susan Griffith sgriffith@iu28.org.  As we become more comfortable, playlists may be able to be managed at the local site as well.
