All Schools within Adams and York counties can participate. Home school students within this geographical range can also participate. There is a $100 school registration fee. During a school's first year of participation, the fee is waived.
Schools must submit the application in order to participate. The application is due by the end of December of the school year they are participating.
YCSEF is run by volunteers. The teacher committee meets twice per year. The organizational meeting takes place in September/October. The final preparation meeting takes place in February.
