Talk to your child about how she adapts to her habitat. Ask, “What do you do to stay warm when it is cold outside?” and “What special tools do fish have to live underwater?” to prompt discussion. As you watch the programs, identify different ways that the creatures (frogs, beavers, etc.) adapt to their habitats. Do they have special tools? Do they do special things? Is their skin, fur, feathers different because of their habitat?
