Credit Recovery
If your child did not pass a class this school year (2024-2025), we are providing an opportunity to recover lost credit.
Imagine Learning partners with LIU 12 to provide a turnkey, online learning solution for students in search of credit recovery. These courses are dynamic courses that assess mastery skills at the beginning of each unit. Based on assessment, students will either progress to the next unit if they demonstrate mastery or will be assigned lessons to remediate those skills they have not learned. Courses will have structured start and end dates for completion and no extensions will be granted.
Credit Advancement
Summer school through Lincoln EDGE also includes the ability to advance credits by taking electives. Please contact your school district prior to registering to ensure that your district will accept credit advancement or credit recovery.
Electives (0.5 credit per course) offered during the summer session include: Lifetime Fitness, Contemporary Health, Personal Finance, Mental Health & Wellness, Personal Development, Introduction to Art, and Unlock Your Purpose. Additional electives may be added prior to the start of summer school. Contact mpdelpriore@iu12.org for more information.
Note: Due to the intensive nature of summer school, we recommend taking a maximum of two courses concurrently.

Courses run for 4 weeks: Starting Monday, June 16, 2025 and run through Friday, July 11, 2025
Applications close at noon on Friday, June 13 at noon. Payment is due by June 16.
No refunds or course extensions will be granted.
At the end of the 4 weeks, grades and/or credit will be reported to your student's school district. School Districts determine promotion or acceptance of credit. We strongly urge you confirm with your school district before enrolling to ensure they will accept these courses for promotion or credit.

Beyond the Traditional
Imagine Learning's online curriculum is an Internet-based, media-rich curriculum that can be accessed 24/7 through any personal computer (PC) or a Macintosh® with an Internet connection. Each student's course length may vary based upon their unit pre-assessment outcomes. Students should plan to complete academic work daily (up to no less than 3 hours per day) until the course is completed. Some students may need to spend more time than others based on mastery of skills. Students may finish courses earlier than the end date for the program.

Bringing lessons to life, Imagine Learning provides an enriching, engaging mixture of 21st century technology that encourages students of all learning styles to explore! Full-color graphics and interactive multimedia elements like videos, slide shows, and audio files provide multi-dimensional understanding that no book can provide. Imagine your student watching, hearing, and experiencing a lesson instead of just reading it! Your student will have access to Imagine Learning staff via scheduled office hours or a virtual office.
Live tutoring is provided by Edgenuity 7 days per week.
