Kid Writing

What is Kid Writing?

Kid Writing is an early literacy instructional approach designed to help young children (typically K–2) develop foundational writing skills by encouraging inventive spelling, oral storytelling, and the connection between phonics and print. 

This approach builds:

• Confidence in expressing ideas
  
  

• A love for writing
  
  

• Early reading and spelling connections
