Hello! My name is Yashal (Yi-shal) Butt and I go by She/Her. I am currently a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering and greatly enjoy math and science. I hope to one day use my engineering and medical knowledge to help people and improve medical technology. This website was created to document my progress and learning throughout my experience in my research internship site.
The LHSI Internship site that I will be researching in is Regenerative Medicine. In this site, research is done to improve diabetic wound healing through nanotechnology and other forms of technology. The primary focus of this lab is to research to improve diabetic wound healing in specifically foot consortiums.
