My name is Taylor Shinabery, pronouns she/her/hers, and I am majoring in Cytotechnology with a minor in Health Administration. Cytotechnologists evaluate patients cell samples and are trained to take notice in small changes to accurately detect precancerous cells, cancerous cells, or infectious conditions. I am interning under Dr. Twigg researching lung immunology and inflammation. During this time I hope to discover if pursing further research career opportunities is the avenue I would like to continue.
