My LHSI Experience

My name is Sukhleen Dhami (Pronunciation: Sue-kuh-leen Dah-mee) and my pronouns are she/her. I'm a sophomore majoring in Biology and interested in pursuing a career in either the optometry or dental field. I decided to pick this specific major because as a kid I found the sciences to be the most interesting subject, and an area that I always wanted to keep learning more about. As I grew up, I figured Biology would be a good major that would help me work towards the careers I potentially wanted to peruse. Besides from the academic side of my life, I am also working towards getting more experience through LHSI. The internship site that I will be working at is called the Interprofessional Clinic, where there are different types of clinics which provide team based collaborative care for their patients.
