Completing the Ignite Presentation for Implementation and Evaluation in Health Sciences and Rehabilitation taught me how to break down complex medical topics like diabetes into a short, structured, and powerful visual message. I explored not only the biological aspects of diabetes, but also how it affects people emotionally, socially, and functionally.
I learned how assistive technology and public policy can dramatically change how individuals manage chronic illnesses. This project helped me develop skills in research, public speaking, visual design, and time management. It reinforced my ability to evaluate health programs and communicate health information clearly—skills I’ll use throughout my Health Sciences degree and future career.
