Hi, welcome to my homepage. I am a mathematician and educator, currently employed at Indiana University, Bloomington, USA as a mathematics lecturer. I am from India where I got my integrated BS-MS in Mathematics at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Bhopal. My undergraduate thesis was on local class field theory, under the supervision of Dr. Abhik Ganguli. I did my PhD in USA at Indiana University under the supervision on Dr. Michael Mandell. My PhD thesis was on computing THH of Morava E-theories.

In this position, I teach a variety of our general education courses and some higher level undergraduate courses. I also coordinate large courses. My primary math research projects are in homotopy theory and algebraic topology.
More specifically, I am interested in stable homotopy theory, algebraic K-theory and trace methods. Algebraic K-theory is an extremely important classical invariant (with powerful reformulations in the language of stable homotopy theory) that captures quite a lot of structure of a ring, and more generally categories with certain additive structures. Computing algebraic K-theory reveals these structures and trace methods are one of the most successful machineries to do these computations. I am interested in all aspects of this story.
I am also interested in problems in algebraic topology associated with configuration spaces and polyhedral products.
Finally, I also have a budding interest in mathematical biology, more particularly in problems related to appearance of Fibonacci numbers in phyllotaxis.
