I have explored various online courses and tutorials to learn new tools and resources, engaged in hands-on tasks to familiarize myself with new methods and techniques. I will continue to actively seek out mentorship opportunities to receive guidance and feedback on embracing new tools and methods.Volunteer for projects or tasks that require utilizing unfamiliar resources, pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Started reading research papers in the field to understand the structure, content, and writing style.I have engaged in hands-on practice in the lab, under supervision, to develop proficiency in research methods and experimental techniques. I have started to collaborate with mentors on ongoing research projects to gain practical experience and contribute to data collection and analysis. As well as began outlining and drafting my own research presentation, seeking feedback from supervisor or team members to refine the content and writing style.

As for my progress, I have completed familiarizing myself with sterile techniques. Additionally, I have started working preparing presentations to share my findings. Next, I will continue to refine my skills in sterile techniques, ensuring that I am proficient in this area. I will also actively seek out shadowing and clinical opportunities to gain hands-on experience and further enhance my understanding of medical practices.
After completing the survey I have found that I am more confident when it comes to asking for feedback when completing tasks on my own. I am aware of my personal growth as I have developed a greater sense of ease when seeking clarification or addressing issues when something appears amiss.
I aspire to maintain my motivation and take ownership of my upcoming project. I am determined to address occasional setbacks autonomously, while also being proactive in seeking resources and assistance to conquer any challenges that may arise.
I believe that being in an environment alongside fellow lab members has been instrumental in enhancing my communication skills, particularly when I'm the one in the learning role.
Within just a few months of joining the lab, I quickly realized that research is a continual learning journey for all involved. Encountering obstacles and the need for creative problem-solving are common expectations in this field. This experience has solidified my confidence that a field like this is a suitable fit for me.
Since the fall, I have become more confident in seeking feedback when completing tasks independently. Through this internship I have solidified my career choice as becoming a physician. I'm certain about my passion for healthcare and my desire to work closely with patients. Becoming a physician aligns perfectly with these aspirations. I am drawn to this profession because of the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives and help them improve their health. Additionally, I am particularly interested in the cosmetic aspects of medicine, and I believe I have the skills and dedication to excel in this area. My passion for healthcare has been ingrained in me for as long as I can remember, and I am confident that pursuing a career as a physician is the right path for me to continue growing personally and professionally.
