As an IU Indianapolis honors student in the Kelley School of Business, I study Accounting and Real Estate. I am passionate about all aspects of business, especially as I continue to develop my skills in Real Estate. I have worked as an Real Estate Agent for the last three years, growing my network and overall business. My coursework, along with my work experiences have allowed me to gain valuable communication, problem-solving, and personal-finance skills.

My name is Noah Kirsch, and I am an honest and straightforward person. I value my relationships with my friends, family, and the people I surround myself with. I am focused, determined, hard-working, helpful, and caring. I am a golfer and religious. I like to lead by example to help others learn, which makes me excited to be a part of the honors college.
I want to become an overall better person for myself. I feel like I'm a pretty good person when considering everything and reflecting back on my “I am” statement. I meet most of the qualities and characteristics that you expect a nice, good person to have, but I don’t feel like that is enough for me.
I have goals to be very successful in life, and success for me is a happy, healthy family, close friends, and financial freedom. I want to be able to take care of everyone who is close to me and not have money be a problem. I value the people I surround myself with, and I want to be able to help them if need be. I expect myself to be successful, strong, religious, loving, and a strong individual; that is who I want to become.
Growing takes time, and I am slowly trying to become the person and individual that I want to be each and every day by becoming 1% each day. It almost sounds cocky and arrogant, but I want to be “The Man”. I am not one to brag or anything, but I do want to be in control of what happens to me and be my own boss. I want to become someone that others look up to, I want to lead by example, I want to help my family, I want to be the best version of me that I know I can, and I have to do that by becoming better each individual day.
Reflection:
When I wrote this, I was a recent high school graduate from Wisconsin, moving to a new city, knowing no one. I had very big goals and dreams, as it seemed to me as new start and a chance to become whoever I wanted to be. This was very exciting and scary at the same time.

Today I am a hardworking individual who values relationships above all. My relationship with the Lord, my family, and my friends is what is most important to me. I am loyal to those loyal to me, as trust is a great value to me.
I want to become someone that my peers look up to. I want to be a leader, and while others feel welcomed to come to me for advice, as I am kind and inviting. I want to help others around me and lead by example. To become successful in all realms of life is important to me.
Reflection:
I can tell my values have changed since freshman year as I vauled self charatistics and driven my outcome-based results. Now I value relationships more as I feel like I have matured more and realized that relationships are very important to the quality of life. Focusing on the value of others in my life have became a great importance to me, which is the main difference from freshman.
JOURNEY MAP

This is my journey map from freshman year when I first joined the honors program. Working on this project helped me reflect back and remember the events that made me who I am today, as I typically don't think about these events very often, and it was refreshing to do so. It also reminded me why I am doing and pursuing the things I am today and gave me an extra boost of motivation to keep moving forward. I can see golf primarily ran my life and was my main focus at this point, which is cool to see how things have changed.

Looking at my Honors Journey laid out like this really puts into perspective how much I’ve grown over the last few years. What stands out to me most is how my achievements have changed so much from my original journey map. Starting my media business and getting my real estate license is a lot different from my golf accomplishments. These helped me develop confidence and work ethic early on, while balancing school and college golf taught me discipline and time management.
As the journey continues, the milestones become more focused and intentional. Buying my first investment property and competing at a high level in golf reinforced the idea that consistency and commitment pay off. Overall, this journey reflects not just achievements but the effort, learning, and persistence behind them.
