The course Bus-X105 is designed to educate incoming business majors on the basics to the business realm including the following topics: marketing, managing, and accounting/finance.
Reflection: Over the course of the semester, this class was able to inform me and get me engaged with what current businesses are doing. For example: the honors class went on a corporate visit to the Gainbridge Fieldhouse where the corporation for the Pacer's Sports and Entertainment resides. One of the large takeaways from this class is the solidity of my choice in major which is accounting. Without the help of Professor Cautillo, I don't believe I would have been as inspired to follow the path of accounting.
The course Bus-X100 is designed to provide a basic understanding of accounting. Topics that were presented include: preparing the financial statements, adjusting entries, and closing entries.
Reflection: Over the course of the semester, this class was able to get me engaged in the major I chose with Diane Sturek. I was able to learn the basics of accounting operations and work with a team on projects as well. For example: the honors section of X100 requires two portfolios to be submitted. In both portfolios, I worked alongside another peer in the class (Brett Scroggham). The work itself was explaining any transactions a certain firm may have on a daily basis. Without Professor Sturik this course wouldn't have been as fun and I can't wait to show her how far I'll go in the future.
The course Hon-H200 is designed to introduce students to the honors program at IUPUI. Over the course of the 10 weeks, I've met like-minded students who have a common goal which is to succeed and graduate with the honors notation.
Reflection: Over the course of the semester I've learned to step out of my comfort zone and talk to other honors students with different majors at IUPUI. The first two weeks were definitely a struggle seeing I was more closed off and introverted but along the way I met not only Kelley students but many others such as computer science, motorsports engineers, nurses, and stem majors. The professors and student teachers had us working together and creating content for future honors students.
Final Debate in Court with Jack and Faith
The course BUS-L204 is a course designed to inform and teach students the law side of business. Over the course of the 16 weeks, I've been able to work alongside with students to use the information we've learned to and apply it to a court case as a final project.
Reflection: Over the last 16 weeks of Commercial Law with Professor Judith Wright, I've learned a lot about working with and against my peers. Professor Wright taught us how to look closer at the finer details and the way to interpret the print. Outside of class I was able to make new friends tat are like-minded.

The course BUS-X204 is a course deigned to inform and teach students the communication of not just businesses but the relationships we have with others. Over the course of the 16 weeks, I was able to work with a team and we not only grew close because we were put into a course together but we learned about each others likes and dislikes.
Reflection: Over the last 16 weeks of Business Communications with Professor Treg Hopkins, I've learned what it really means to be a good communicator/bad communicator and how to find the good communication. Professor Hopkins simulated what an actual work environment would look like in the work force and pushed us to do the best we could each and every class.
Kelley’s Honors I-Core is the honors version of the Integrated Core classes at the Kelley School of Business at IU Indianapolis. It is for students in the Kelley Honors Program who want a more challenging and hands-on learning experience.
In Honors I-Core, students take several business classes at the same time, such as marketing, finance, operations, and management. Instead of learning each subject separately, students work on real business problems that connect all of them together. You usually work in teams, which helps build teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
This program helps students think like real business professionals. It is more fast-paced and project-based than regular classes, and it prepares students for internships, careers, and leadership roles in business.
Strategic Management is the honors course that follows a year after taking ICORE. Most of the students that are in the class end up being in the same course
