As an Honors College student at IU Indianapolis majoring in Health and Human Sciences, I am maintaining and seek to graduate with a 4.0 GPA while competing as a Division I men’s soccer goalkeeper. With published research and hands-on experience in strength and conditioning, I am preparing for a career in exercise physiology and athletic development, while also pursuing opportunities in professional soccer, my childhood dream.
Born and raised in London, England, I attended Whitgift School, where I captained the soccer team and balanced athletics with academics, achieving straight A’s in my A-levels. Alongside school competition, I gained playing experience in professional environments through academy contracts with Fulham FC, Queens Park Rangers, and Crystal Palace. As an only child, I remain closely connected with my family, who still reside in London.
Before transferring to IU Indianapolis, I attended Furman University for a few years of my undergraduate degree, where I competed as a Division I goalkeeper and co-authored published research examining fatigue indicators in collegiate women’s soccer players. That project sparked my continued passion for applying research to practice, especially in optimising athletic performance and recovery.
I am currently a fifth-year international student, pursuing a degree in the IU Indianapolis School of Health and Human Sciences, where I maintain a 4.0 cumulative GPA. I am also a member of the IU Indy Honors College, which I am on track to complete in about half the usual timeframe due to my transfer and accelerated academic progress. My scholarly interests centre on human performance, athlete development, and the science of strength and conditioning.

Beyond the classroom, I have developed practical experience through internships at Furman University, the University of Dayton, and IU Indianapolis as a strength coach. These roles have allowed me to work closely with student athletes and strength & conditioning staff, providing valuable insight into the preparation, training, and performance demands of collegiate sports.
Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a master’s degree in a related field and prepare for the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential. While I remain committed to pursuing professional soccer opportunities, my long-term career goal is to contribute to the field of collegiate strength and conditioning through evidence-based practice, mentorship, and athletic development.
