We are emerging scientists writing to satisfy the public's curiosity on intriguing topics. Our different areas of expertise provided a wide range of topics which could be covered. We used our collective knowledge to present to most important information regarding the use of blowflies in post-mortem interval determination, nanoparticles in cancer immunotherapy, and methods of arson investigations. Kelsey Kramer is majoring in Forensic & Investigative Sciences with a focus on biology, has worked in an entomology lab, and is currently a deputy coroner. She also works as an autopsy assistant for a forensic pathologist. Rabia Atif is a Biology major with an interest in cancer studies. Sydney Lyon studying Forensic & Investigative Sciences and Chemistry. She is fascinated by analytical techniques that forensic scientists use in their work. We hope to move forward with our studies to become a part our individual scientific communities while also connecting with other disciplines.
