My name is Kevin Morales and I am a Junior. I am majoring in Bilogy but I am also in the pre med track. I decided to major in Biology because I have been always interested in how cells and microorganisms work to keep a human living. I plan applying to Medical School and become a pediatrician in the future.

My Background

I was originally born in Indianapolis, but I moved to Mexico City when I was six years old. I returned to Indianapolis in seventh grade because I knew that pursuing a college education in the United States would open up many opportunities for me. Since then, I’ve taken full advantage of the resources available on campus, and through these experiences, I’ve gained valuable insights that continue to bring me closer to my goal of becoming a doctor.

Involvement

Riley children's hospital

I volunteered in the Child Life Zone for two years and am currently working as a Medical Assistant. These experiences have solidified my decision to pursue a career in the medical field.

LSA (Latino Student Association)

I currently serve as the Secretary for the Latino Student Association (LSA), a role that has given me valuable leadership experience. It has also enabled me to build connections with other campus organizations and help provide meaningful resources to the Latinx community.
