My LHSI Experience

Hello, my name is Joshua West (or Josh either is fine), my pronouns are he/him/his, and I am a Junior here at IUI. I am majoring in Chemistry and Forensic Science. I am not sure what I want to do career-wise, but I am very interested in possibly pursuing research. I will be interning with Dr. Needham and her team at the Stark Neuroscience Research Institute, and the lab focuses on the gut microbiome. I look forward to a fun and educational year while doing LHSI. This site will document my journey in professional development, research, and the gut mircobiome.
