Hello everyone! My name is Hannah McKenna, (they/them). I am a junior at IUPUI, and I am Psychology Major. I am also minoring in American Sign Language Studies. My internship site is at Riley Children's Hospital in their Adolescent Gender Health Clinic, where I will be working with their outreach programs, learning advocacy skills, and doing research about adolescent gender health and gender-affirming healthcare. I plan on graduating from IUPUI next spring, then returning to the ASL/English Interpreting program along with getting my Master's in Child Life to pursue a career in interpreting and as a child life specialist.

I am from Columbus, IN, about an hour south of Indianapolis. I was involved in band in high school, national honor society, and HOSA-Health Occupations Students of America. Since attending IUPUI I have been involved in the Psychology Club, Biology Club, the ASL "That" Club, and Book Club at IUPUI. I enjoy being creative, raising plants, spending time with my friends and family, and exploring Indianapolis.
