My First Semester Experience

The journey of a student is never easy but with the help of staff it is sure a whole lot easier. I applied to IUPUI as my first choice for two reasons. I have a lot of family close by and they are part Purdue which is great for any engineering student. At orientation I really did not feel like I fit in but that all changed at bridge week. I was able to learn so much about campus and made a ton of new friends.  Two of my favorite things so far is probably making my new friends at bridge week and exploring campus.

Some strengths that I noticed is that I am able to get out of my comfort zone and make new friends. While some weaknesses are my trouble communicating with other.

One big thing I learned this semester is to be myself and to enjoy my time here. 

One piece of advice for next semester would be to be more adventurous.
