FAQ

1) What are the days/times of the festival?

Friday, October 31st and Saturday, November 2nd, 2024. Both days the Festival will be open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm.

2) Where is the festival?

The main part of the festival will be held at Morgenstern's Bookstore and Cafe located in Bloomington, Indiana at: 

849 S Auto Mall Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401

There will be other specified events at locations TBD.

3) Does it cost to get in?

Yes, the fee's are given in accordance to college students, general adults, and seniors. Check the tickets page for more on this.

4) How long has the Bloomington Book Festival been around?

This is the first year of the Bloomington Book Festival! As book festivals become the new trend around the country, Morgenstern's is the first to bring one to the city of Bloomington! Be a part of our state history and enjoy your time at the birth of a future 

5) What kind of community involvement do you have?

Morgenstern's itself is a locally owned book store that aims to promote locally owned businesses! Everything that is going in to the event is from locally owned businesses and the authors are largely known and from here within the local community!

6) What are the goals of the Book Festival?

There are a few different goals for the Bloomington Book Festival! One is to help spread great books and authors from the area! Encouraging literature allows for more stuff like this to happen. Also, making Bloomington a must stop for this event could allow for Bloomington to host bigger events in the near future.
