The Qualifying Exams at IU Indianapolis are written exams offered twice a year during qualifier exam sessions the week before classes start in August and January. We help our early graduate students prepare for them through Qualifying Exam Workshops for the pure mathematics quals, depending on the number of students interested. These are typically problem-solving sessions led by some of our kind graduate students who have already passed the relevant exams and are typically working on their research related to that area.
Past workshops:
Real Analysis, by Diyath Pannipitiya (2024 Winter)
