The Center for Student Counseling’s Relaxation and Low-Sensory Space (Relaxation Room) aims to provide a tranquil lounge area as a break from the busy college campus. As of now, there is only one location, and it is hidden in Kettler Hall’s basement, past an eatery, so it is often not noticed. We hope to join the campus fair event at the beginning of the academic school year to attract new visitors and let more people know where we are located. We also hope to attract and retain enough new visitors to open a new location, as we found from our current visitors that some of them do not utilize the Relaxation Room because it is already occupied, as there are limited desks to study and complete assignments.
This marketing plan of using social media to spread the news about our location and what we offer, as well as participating in the campus fair will help us achieve our goals. We will also keep in mind that we may need to hold fundraisers, but those could also serve to attract new visitors.
