Indiana University Indianapolis Junior Adriona Turner-McBee
Adequate patient care and promoting the life of all humans that I encounter within the specialized focus of medicine. Medicine is not only a passion that I love and want to achieve but rather a goal that is blossoming into a reality. In that hope that I will soon be entering medical school and becoming a Physician focused on aiding the sick, and wounded without the context of borders.
I want to work within the organization Médecins Sans Frontières also known as, Doctors Without Borders in english. Taking care of people, and providing service to those of need, are things I have great experience with. Through being an EMT student, a home aid for a family member, working within a genetics lab within the School of Medicine, and being apart of the in-depth day-to-day clinical life of an eye doctor. My interest in medicine is a passion that only continues to grow, both from the seeds that have been planted thorough my past experience but even more so in my engaged learning opportunity. I want to do more, help more, and continue in the fostering of human life.
