In our commitment to supporting migrant brothers in Singapore, ItsRainingRaincoats (IRR) proudly launches the IRR ONE Bicycle Drive, running from January 2 to March 31, 2024.
Migrant workers often reside in farflung areas like Sungei Kadut and Tuas, distant from basic amenities such as supermarkets. On top of that, some workers endure a 20-minute walk to reach the nearest bus stop. This means that after a long day doing physically-demanding work, workers have to travel long distances just to run errands such as grocery shop.
We have an ambitious dream to help workers by giving them bicycles. Beyond the practicality of commuting, a bicycle offers them the precious gift of time – a chance to rest and rejuvenate after toiling away in physically demanding jobs.
