How old do I have to be to volunteer?

For all initiatives, you have to be at least 16. 

If you are under the age of 16, you may volunteer with a trusted adult (parents, teachers, guardians, etc.).

What should I join?

If you are interested in simply volunteering, feel free to join our current initiatives! 

However, if you are more adventurous, feel free to start your own initiative! You may look at our "Join Us," page, as well as read this document for more information.

Is there a selection process for IRR volunteers once I submit my application? Will I be guaranteed a volunteer opportunity once I submit my application?

Current IRR Initiatives

For volunteering at the inspIRRe store, you will be contacted by our Store Manager regarding the successful application of your shift.

Please note that for all initiatives, we cannot guarantee a volunteering opportunity.

Student-Led Initiatives

As IRR is a small charity, we are unable to accommodate all initiatives. Hence, we will be shortlisting and working with the best and most fleshed out ideas.

Can I interview migrant workers or IRR staff?

We are unable to provide staff interviews.

We request that you read up about IRR before submitting your interview questions.

Answers to questions like "What is IRR's mission and goals?", "How does IRR help Migrant Workers?", and "What are migrant workers' challenges?" can be found on IRR's website and in various IRR media interviews available online. 

You may also refer to our FAQ document for more information about us.

If your questions cannot be answered, do submit an interview request through Google Forms.

Please read through the requirements on this form thoroughly. IRR will only be looking into interview requests that follow our guidelines.

Can I be a NextGen mentor?

We are currently looking for NextGen mentors!

Do you have any experience in project management, engaging youths, and/or migrant workers?

How can I intern with IRR?
