In 2026, Chinese New Year and Ramadan coincide, bringing together two meaningful seasons centred on renewal, reflection, and generosity. As we prepare to welcome the new year and embrace this special time, we also celebrate the migrant workers who contribute so much to the fabric of our society. While many spend this season away from their families, it is a time for community to come together, share warmth, and ensure everyone feels valued and included. Guided by the shared spirit of giving in both traditions, we come together to extend care, joy, and a sense of belonging to all.

1. Donation of Unopened CNY Goodies

You can drop off unopened donations of brand-new CNY goodies at our main office, located at 217 Henderson Road #03-07, Singapore 159555. We are open every day except Wednesdays and weekday public holidays, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM. These will be passed to workers visiting inspIRRe, or sent to dorms and worksites.

2. Makan with Migrant Workers: Iftar Parties

Join us in celebrating the spirit of Ramadan with the Makan with Migrant Workers: Iftar Parties edition. Many migrant workers are away from their families and communities during this holy month, but you can make a difference!

Get together with your loved ones and bless these hardworking individuals by sending or inviting them for a meal for Iftar.

Simply email us at inspirre@itsrainingraincoats.com to let us know how many workers you’d like to support and we can get you connected!

3. Fruits Distribution at Worksites

Oranges are an essential part of Chinese New Year celebrations, symbolizing good luck, prosperity, and abundance. This festive tradition extends beyond homes to include sharing fruits with others, especially those working hard during the holiday season. If you’d like to distribute oranges and other fruits to workers and worksites, feel free to reach out to us at inspirre@itsrainingraincoats.com, and we’ll help connect you to a worksite. We also encourage you to personally distribute fruits or snacks to any road workers you may encounter in your neighbourhood!

4. Ramadan Carepacks

Ramadan is approaching, and we’re preparing to support our migrant brothers during this blessed month. If you’d like to contribute, we’re collecting Ramadan Carepacks filled with essential items (listed in the poster) to help them through their fasting days. You can drop off the carepacks or individual items directly at inspIRRe @ 217 Henderson Road #03-07, S159555.

These donations will be distributed to migrant workers who visit our store over the weekends in February & March and are observing Ramadan.

5. Spring Cleaning for a Cause

Along with the tradition of spring cleaning, let’s consider sustainability. Items that are still in good condition, but no longer needed at home, can be passed on to our migrant brothers, who will certainly be able to make good use of them.
