brindisi italy

16-20 may 2022, brindisi italy

Because of covid restrictions this project was stopped for two years and only saw three mobilities out of five. Due to the impossibility of the coordinator country, germany, to make the final host, the team decided to ask permission to the national agency for a mobility in italy far from the city of capua, because in the meanwhile our school was engaged with another erasmus+ hosting. After the national agencies’ consense the teams planned a mobility in the region of puglia, a land strongly connected to the main topic of the project. The schools involved are from: germay-italy-norway-portugal our school selected the students aged 15/16 to leave for brindisi and start this great adventure.

The erasmus+ team had prevoiusly decided to make each country plan one day of the mobility, as effectively there was not a “hosting country” and the mobility was held between the 16 th and the 20 th of may.

The programme was scheduled as follow:

The first day the groups met in the brindisi hotel for some icebreaknig activities so that the students could know each other from the very beginning. After they gathered in the meeting room of the hotel to make a video presentation of each school and city. They also presented videos, explaining what their governments are doing to face the problem of pollution and climate change. Then the groups moved to a free beach to recollect plastic and clean the area and, at the end of the activity, to make some work of arts with the plastic recollected, to prove that recyclying is possible.

The second day was spent in the area of “torre guaceto” a neture reserve, where the groups leaded by a local guide could see the mediterranean bush and its flora and fauna.

The tird day was spent in the city of lecce. The students were asked to study and present the most important monuments of the area.

The fourth day was spent in alberobello, another peculiar city preserved during the centuries with its typical pointed roofs. In the afteroon they moved to ostuni to enjoy another typical landscape of the region.

The fifth and last day the groups met for the farewell party in the city of mesagne, hosted by the german team.
