Welcome to my research group at the Environmental Engineering of ITENAS
INTERACTION OF AIR POLLUTION, CLIMATE AND HEALTH
Brief introduction
Dr. Didin is an Assistant Professor in Environmental Engineering at Indonesia's National Institute of Technology (ITENAS). He holds a PhD and Master's degree from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). He obtained his bachelor of engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). He previously worked at AIT on research projects funded by international donors. He teaches post-grad courses on air pollution and has a research focus on 3D chemistry transport models, emission inventories, and environmental assessments. He's published extensively, won AWMA competitions, led air quality projects, and trained internationally. He's active in global scientific communities such as IGAC and ANCST. He has been involved in several expert meetings at the IPCC for SLCF. He is recently vice head of LPPM Itenas for research affairs and general secretary of the Indonesian Aerosol Association (IAA). His research areas are as follows:
Air pollution monitoring (indoor and outdoor)
Emission inventory of air pollutants and Greenhouse Gases (GHGs)
Meteorological modeling (MM5, WRF, etc)
Air quality modeling (CTM, AERMOD, etc)
Emission source modeling (IVE, LandGEM, etc)
Health impact assessment
Air quality related policy analysis
