Professor Ortiz-Medina obtained his Electronics Engineering degree from the Durango Institute of Technology in 2006, followed by a Ph.D. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from IPICYT, México, in 2013. His interests are in the experimental and theoretical study of nanostructured materials for environmental and agricultural applications, energy harvesting and storage, and electronic devices for sensing and flexible devices.
Professor Godínez-García obtained his Industrial Engineering in Electronics degree from the Durango Institute of Technology, followed by a Master degree of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Laguna Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in Biochemical Engineering Science from the Durango Institute of Technology.
Graduate Students
Manuel Carrillo obtained his Mechatronics Engineering degree in 2022, from Durango Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Engineering. His work focuses on the development of a Raman spectrograph for the characterization of nanosensors in agroindustrial samples.
Alejandro Ramirez obtained his Mechatronics Engineering degree in 2020, from Durango Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in engineering. He is currently working on the developing of a nanostructured platform for the spectroscopic detection of contaminants in agricultural soils.
José Gómez obtained his Business Management Engineering degree in 2021, from Durango Institute of Technology. He is currently pursuing his master's degree in engineering. He is currently working on the development of flexible nanosensors for the detection of plant diseases.
