Ashok Ji Gupta currently works as Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology(Banaras Hindu University). He works in the area of Theory of Rings and Modules which lies under Algebra, his current project is 'Development of Cryptographically efficient lightweight MDS matrices and its extension to code based PQC'.
He completed his Ph.D. degree in Algebra from one of the premier institutions of India IIT-BHU, Varanasi. He had published more than 20 research papers in journals of international repute, including the investigation of injective modules.
My primary research interest includes Structure of Rings and Modules particularly, Injective/projective modules and their various generalizations.
Now-a-days, I am interested in Coding Theory and Cryptography. Theory of rings and modules have some beautiful application in above area of research.
Ongoing : A study on Finite Direct-Projective modules and Baer modules.
Future Plan : A study on Ring based Coding theory and Cryptography which includes study on code based PQC.
