ALEKS Login Information

ALEKS Login information:

Go to Canvas:  NEED WEBSITE and login.

Select Math 0090 Course.

Click on the Login to ALEKS  link.  You will be asked if you have an ALEKS Login that was used previously.  If you do, you can use it here.  

ALEKS PPL login is NOT the same and you cannot use it here--select never if that is the ONLY ALEKS login you have.

Have you used ALEKS before? 

• Never… (follow the instructions to create an account)

• Yes, you can use your OLD login and password

Login instructions:

• Video, 

• PDF.

If you have opted out of the ISU Book Bundle you will need to purchase ACCESS after the Book Bundle Deadlines has been reached. 

• 1. If you do not have the money at this time to purchase ALEKS, you can wait.  But you will be asked to purchase at some point...probably after the Book Bundle Deadline.  Once that happens, you will NOT be able to work in ALEKS until you pay.  Make sure to plan accordingly!

  2. DO NOT PURCHASE through Amazon or other vendor!  You will spend EXTRA money!

COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING after you Login to ALEKS for the first time:

Go through the tools tutorial.

Next is the Initial Knowledge check:

• DO NOT USE a calculator unless ALEKS gives it to you

• Do NOT use Google or get help from anyone…

• 25-30 questions, try to complete asap

• The “I Don’t Know” button is there for a reason…use it, but if you have an idea of what to do, DO IT!
